The
Perfect Location
We’re
based at Hunstanton, on the north coast of Norfolk, a beautiful seaside
town that boasts one of the best beaches in the UK for learning kite
surfing.
The sea is waist height shallow for a
full mile (1.6km) and the beach is spacious and sandy
– the ideal location to learn kite surfing safely and with confidence.
Our location gives us access to several other beaches, and the ability
to tap into every wind direction apart from easterly. So as long as
there’s wind, you’ve got a great chance of getting out there.
Hunstanton is a beautiful, very popular seaside town with plenty of
accommodation, great places to eat and drink and loads of opportunities
for outdoor leisure nearby. The rest of the North Norfolk coast is within
easy reach.
Our Rail Link via King’s Lynn (details below) puts us just two
hours from London and makes us a fantastic alternative to popular kite
surfing locations like Southend and Brighton.
Traveling
to Hunstanton
• By rail: Hunstanton is half an hour’s
cab ride from King’s Lynn station, which can be reached in just
one and a half hours from King’s Cross.
• By road: Hunstanton is on the A149 coast road,
which connects with the A47 (Midlands), A10 (Cambridge, London
via M11) and A17 (Lincolnshire).
• By air: Norwich International Airport is around
45 miles (72km) away, with direct flights from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and
Manchester all year, Jersey and Guernsey in holiday season and thousands
of international connections via Amsterdam.
